Generating labels and printing them
What this solves: Going from uploaded files to a printed sheet of labels.
Quick answer: Pick your files → pick a template → Generate → review and edit → Print Labels → confirm in the Print Preview and hand off to your browser’s print dialog.
Steps:
- Drop files into Select Files and pick a template (Avery 5366 by default). See Which template should I use?
- Choose the naming mode: Filenames or Read Documents.
- Click Generate. You’ll see a green banner: “Labels generated. Edit formatting (caps, bold, prefixes) or reorder freely.” Toast: “N labels created…”
- Review the preview. Reorder, edit, or apply prefixes / background colors as needed — formatting changes apply live.
- Click Print Labels. A short processing pass runs, then the Print Preview modal opens: labels laid out on the Avery sheet, zoom (default 125%), zoom in/out, fullscreen.
- Click Continue to Print — your browser’s print / save-as-PDF dialog takes over. Print on the Avery sheets you selected.
Tip: Cancel and Regenerate are always available. Clear All resets the session.
